Assistant Account Executive / Account Executive

SME & Private Clients

We’re growing our SME & Private Client portfolio and are looking for an Assistant Account Executive or Account Executive to join our team.

This role is ideal for someone early in their insurance career who is keen to step up, take on more responsibility, and grow alongside a developing portfolio. 

You’ll work closely with an Account Manager, supporting clients, insurers, and internal teams to deliver high-quality advice and service.

About the role

• Support the management and servicing of a growing portfolio of SME and private clients

• Assist with renewals, new business placements, and mid-term policy adjustments

• Liaise with insurers to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and structure appropriate cover

• Support clients with day-to-day enquiries and insurance advice

• Prepare policy documentation, endorsements, and renewal materials

• Assist with general administration and light marketing support, including client communications and reporting

• Collaborate with broking, claims, and operations teams to deliver end-to-end service

About you

• 1–2 years’ experience in insurance (brokerage, underwriting, or claims) preferred
  (candidates with the right attitude and willingness to learn will also be considered)

• Interest in SME and private client insurance and building a long-term career in broking

• Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach

• Organised, proactive, and eager to take on increasing responsibility

• Strong desire to build technical broking capability and deepen insurance knowledge over time

• Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualification (or working towards) preferred
